AUTHENTIC MEXICAN SALSA

16 oz. crushed tomatoes
1 lg. onion, diced
5 jalapeno peppers, diced
1/8 tsp. red pepper
2 cloves of garlic
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. soda
1/8 tsp. chili powder


Put all ingredients in large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or more. Serve with chips.
