Slow Cooker Chili Recipe

* 12 Servings
* Prep: 15 min. Cook: 6 hours

2 pounds ground beef
* 4 cans (16 ounces each) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
* 1 can (28 ounces) stewed tomatoes, undrained
* 1 can (15 ounces) pizza sauce
* 1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies
* 1/4 cup chopped onion
* 4 to 5 teaspoons chili powder
* 2 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 teaspoon dried basil
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

* In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until vegetables are tender. Yield: 12 servings.
