BREAKFAST CASSEROLE


 
3/4 (12 oz.) cubed sharp cheddar cheese
5 slices cubed bread
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
Dash pepper
Crumbled bacon
Breakfast sausage 
 
Place alternately in layers in buttered casserole the cheese, bread and egg- milk-salt-pepper-dry mustard mixture. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Fifteen minutes before serving, sprinkle crumbled bacon on top. Can be served with breakfast sausage, kielbasa, etc.
