BREAKFAST CASSEROLE


 
10 slices white or wheat bread (torn)
1 lb. cooked seasoned (Italian) sausage
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
7 beaten eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. light cream (half & half)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. A-1 or Worcestershire
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 sm. can mushrooms
Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Arrange layers of bread, cooked sausage, cheese and mushrooms (onions optional). Combine rest of ingredients and pour over top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes covered. Serves 8- 10.
